Worm Farming at Tai Tapu

We have two worm farms at our school; one has been created in an old bath tub and the other is a purpose bought one which lives in the vegetable garden area. Our mission this term is to make all of the students and teachers understand why it is such an important thing to do in our school. We want to make sure that any left over apple cores and banana skins end up doing something useful. Our worms can help us to grow our vegetables by producing great fertiliser.
