PTA

Tai Tapu School has a committee of active and enthusiastic PTA members, consisting of parents of children in the school and one staff member.  A BOT respresentative attends the meetings, keeping the lines of communication open between the two groups. 

Tai Tapu School PTA is a successful fundraising team providing the school with  useful resources and funding that the school requires.  The PTA has supplied  most classrooms with with interactive whiteboards.  They provide items that are over and above what the funding will allow.

Some of the fundraisers recently have been: catering for a staff wedding, Pop Corn and Movie night,Quiz nights, Spelling Bee and many other initiatives over the years.

 The PTA provides a fun and easy environment for all parents wishing to join.  I t is important that sometime while your children attend Tai Tapu that you contribute to the PTA. New members are welcomed and it is a great way to make friends and become part of the school community.
